Mommy and Me

I love this family, I first shoot there maternity photos i guess about a year and ahalf ago judging my this little gap model here. This is what I always hoped for, to docuement a family through the all the most important moments. What a joy and a privilage! For this shot we traveled to UCLA where the gap model's mom went to school. I was so exicited because in the 1920's my grandmother attended this school as well, so it was kind of a family history trip as well. It is such a beauitful campus. Pretty much I was in heaven!

I heart your face

this week at I heart Faces the challenge was Wedding Bells, well not only is this my entry but this is also a sneak peak of the Beckett's wedding this last weekend. They had a such fun spirts and made me laugh alot. I love that.

Beauitful Babies

I was working on some father's day gifts today and while putting together a simple collage i just had to stop and blog.Yes I am extremely bias but they little babies melt my heart.

addicted

Rarely do i ever blog about anything other than just my photos but this site has me utterly addicted! Design Sponge, among other things, has the BEST before and after home decor section. I come from an interior design background so this stuff just makes me giddy and there is so much i want to take a can of white spray paint to around me right now! I think i need to take a few days off and yard sale, upholster, mod modge and paint my cute little heart out. And of course snap photos the whole way through!

I Heart Faces wk 23

Don't often work with sepia tone but its an interesting challenge so this week i gave it a go.

i snapped this shot of my friends sweet baby boy with a new lens i got from the Ritz Camera going out of business sell, of the subject but that was AWESOME! He has the most beauitful eyes.

this is from a shoot I did of Xavier at UCLA not long ago. I love this shot of X and his mom. Him snugling and peaking out from his mom's chest. You can see that smile in his eye. I love that most children and babies are most at ease while snuggling with there mothers. I see it over and over again and it just warms my heart!

Baby Evelyn

All babies are different, some sleep through there photo shoot, some are wide awake. Some don't mind having no clothes on others don't like it at all. Evie loved being outside and my favorite shoots were the ones taken in the back yard. Thats were she really sparkled. Although all babies are so different it seems one thing is always the same. All babies like to be held close to there mothers. Thats when my heart melts.

Everything Stops

Everything stops today for my sweet lady baby who was born a year ago. I can not imagine life with out this spunky, cheerful, and beautiful baby. She's my doll, lady bug, spider monkey, and princess. Who knows what i did to be so lucky? Mommy Loves YOU!A photo shoot just for you:
